Wine course dinner with 4-courses

On a few selected Fridays we gather at 19:30 in our unique and famous wine cellar. Vaulted ceilings from the 18th century and thick stone walls makes up this rare room which contains a unique selection of over 1000 wines. This is by far one of Norway´s most unique and oldest wine cellars.

The evening begins with a starter, 1 glass of sparkling wine and a brief introduction to the world of wine. For the second starter, main-course, cheese, and dessert, two different wines for each dish, so-called vertical tasting, is accompanied with the menu. During the course of the evening, you´ll learn how to properly smell, taste, and evaluate what´s in the glass, whilst understanding your palate.

Our sommelier will explain why the different wines match with each and every dish, while acknowledging individual preferences.

The sommelier will deliver a thorough explanation of the various wine-grapes, regions and typical flavors to look for. There will be plenty of room to ask questions. The evening ends with a delicious selection of petit fours and coffee/tea in our lounge. Guests who like to sit up longer can continue the evening with a Cognac or perhaps some more wine.

Limited seats available. Pre-bookings must be made 48 hours in advance.

If cancelled before 12:00 noon the day before arrival, no fee will incur. If cancelled later, 100% of the reservation will be charged.
